Court Artist Marilyn Church Documents History Through Sketches

Most courts in the U.S. do not allow cameras in the courtroom, so sketch artists are the only people able to illustrate the dramatic and sometimes historic events that happen during a trial. Sketch artist Marilyn Church has been documenting trials for more than four decades. Her portfolio includes the likes of gangster John Gotti and Mark David Chapman, who killed John Lennon.
